Friendship Fund

The Friendship Fund is an informal organisation of friends each of whom, in some way, have been affected by Multiple Sclerosis and who have come together socially. It offers the chance to meet others and make new friends.  The social programme each year has been made up of several events, including a residential weekend at an outdoor centre, all of which are open to all members.

Participation in all of the activities is only free to persons suffering MS and who live, roughly, within the Moray area. Friends, families, carers and those just interested in helping-out are also invited to take advantage of the group.

Although newcomers are always welcome, it must be pointed out that none of their members hold any medical or carer qualifications. Therefore, as such, participants requiring special assistance should ensure that a suitable carer accompanies them.

Where possible, the organisation will try to arrange transport for those with none although limited to any functions fairly local to Elgin.
