A lot of MSers find the MS Resource Centre to be a useful source of information and support. Their New Pathways magazine is also popular. The MSRC are going through some changes and the following e-mail has been received from them. I'll update this site when the changes are fully implemented.

Dear supporter

As a very valued supporter of the charity we would like to share our news with you.

We did promise some changes for the New Year and would like to take this opportunity to bring you the very latest developments at the charity.

We’ve made some very big changes at the charity to reflect our committed approach in making sure that people affected by MS continue to have access to the services they need.

Although our Head Office is based in Colchester, our services do operate on a national level, that message hasn’t always been clear. We needed to address this issue and make sure we can reach even more people affected by MS, so we are changing the name of MSRC to Multiple Sclerosis-UK and our trading name will be MS-UK.

With a new name also comes a new logo and on 30th January 2013, we will also be launching our new website – www.ms-uk.org. All other contact details remain the same. Our current website is very old and struggles to support modern technology which means that some people may not be able to access the information they need.

MS-UK will always be 100% committed to providing services that are needed within the MS community and we constantly look for ways to improve those services and develop new ones. The changes we have made at the charity are because we need to reach more people and help raise more awareness of the support we can offer until a cure for MS is found.

MS-UK – Working together to live life with MS.

More information is available on our current website, www.msrc.co.uk

We really appreciate your support of MSRC and hope this continues with MS-UK.

Best Wishes,

Kim Salmon
